Priestly Blessings

Toleo was just hours old, still bathed in her mother's fluids, when she was abandoned on a fence post outside the Catholic parish in Naivasha, Kenya. She was rescued by Father Daniel Kiriti, a priest turned AIDS activist, who is leading the fight against HIV/AIDS in his embattled community. Education, counseling, support and care for orphans are among his tools for bringing about change.
